When 'As I Am', Alicia Keys' third studio album, was released in November 2007, it enjoyed one of the largest first week sales for any female artist in USA, and the largest ever for any female R&B; artist in history. The album debuted at no. 1 in the Worldwide chart, and proved to become one of the USA�s biggest selling album's of 2007, while in the UK 'As I Am' has gone platinum, making it Alicia's third platinum album here to date.
Since the release of 'As I Am', Alicia Keys has divided her time between filming a biopic of the legendary jazz artist Lena Hall and touring sold out Arenas in Europe. Meanwhile 'No-One', (the first single to be released from 'As I Am') has proved to be RCA's highest ever selling ringtone, has sold over 200,000 in the UK and has been awarded 2 Grammy�s and one VMA.
Alicia Keys' forthcoming plans for Summer 08 include touring the US, returning to Europe for festival performances and additional UK tour-dates, and releasing 'Teenage Love Affair', the third single off 'As I Am', worldwide.
Listed as one of the best songs of 2007 by Rolling Stone Magazine, 'Teenage Love Affair' is a playful paean to snatching clandestine moments with your first boyfriend/girlfriend. Set to a breezy retro-soul pop backing, 'Teenage Love Affair' is as timeless as it is infectious.
