The Zutons have gone into Sunset Sound Studios in LA with producer George Drakoulias (The Black Crowes/ Primal Scream/ Tom Petty) to commence recording their third album. The as yet untitled album is the follow-up to the multi platinum selling albums Who Killed The Zutons? (2004) and Tired Of Hanging Around (2006) and is due for release in the Spring of 2008.

During 2007 the band wrote and demoed songs for the new album and saw Mark Ronson's version of Valerie (from Tired Of Hanging Around) become a smash hit across the globe and end as one of the Top Ten selling singles of the year in the UK.
