Twisted Wheel release the 'You Stole The Sun' EP on July 28th on Columbia Records, on limited numbered 7” vinyl and download. It comes on the back of several months of relentless touring across the UK (Taking in a sold out 500 capacity show in Manchester, Dot to Dot, The Great Escape & Radio 1’s Big Weekend along the way) and in the wake of the release of their now sold out limited edition debut 7" 'She's A Weapon', which picked up acclaim from the likes of Zane Lowe ("Hottest Record In The World"), NME & Q amongst others.
'You Stole The Sun EP' perfectly showcases and creates a snapshot of the raw power of Twisted Wheel: the frantic and anthemic song writing of the young Oldham 3-piece that has already won them a rabid fan base nationwide and most of all, captures their rapid progression into one of the country’s most promising young acts.
The EP features a new mix of demo 'You Stole The Sun', alongside a live version of 'Let Them Have It All', and the original demo versions of 'Racket' & 'What's Your Name'. The recordings are explosive and of the moment, in parts rudimentary, but equally wonderful, channelling the spirit &snarl; of early UK punk and fusing it with a youthful swagger and a grand ambition that makes it totally cohesive and unique to them.
